Default Drop.io Outlook Plug-In Sends 100MB Attachments [D

Click the image to open in full size.Windows: drop.io is a quick way to share up to 100 MB in files, but it's easy to forget about. With a beta Outlook plug-in, drop.io can become your go-to means of sending really large files without annoying your recipients.

Drop.io's plug-in puts two buttons on the Message window, one for "attaching" files by uploading them to a new "drop" at drop.io, the other generating a unique conference call number to discuss what you're sending. When your recipient gets the message, they see a series of Gmail-like download links that lead them to drop.io, where they can either preview the file, if it's a recognizable format, or simply download it. You can add a password and SSL encryption if you'd like, but for quickly sending files that don't need securing, it's just a click or two.

Drop.io's Outlook plug-in is a free download, requires Microsoft Outlook on Windows.
