they're talking about merging so I really do not think it will matter much longer...

Thanks HL and Corsair!

The merger was approved....I'm not sure what effect that will have on the service, but its always been based on the NFL (Srius) or MLB (XM).

I had XM for three years and enjoyed it.....it was a little pricey considering they looped the same music over and over, but the talk radio was nice.

Ugh, they loop the music? Hmm might scratch it then...was hoping to get a way from that. Oh well.

Does Sirius loop their tunes? I certainly remember hearing the same songs over and over, but I can't recall if they were actually looped.

Howard Stern sucks ass, i'd rather listen to dead air than that self promoting windbag. XM has Opie and Anthony, and when they aren't whining, they are actually pretty entertaining.

All radio is looped, you'd be hard pressed to find a station on FM that doesn't use the same type of computer generated play list.....satellite is the exact same way.......the only difference is satellite didn't used to have commercials, but now thats gone as they have some commercials.

IMO, its a nice idea, but its not worth the $12 a month they want

Agreed! I listen to the Tom Leykis Show when I'm in LA, or on the Internet when stuck on the East Coast.
