Default Why Geeks shouldn't work on cars

I was replacing the brake shoes on my car today and hit my head. This is why I am not a mechanic.

It hurt like a SOB. My BMW has drum brakes and I was trying to get the springs back on the shoes. Damn thing broke and my head slamed into the wheel well.

Next time wear protective gear. Wear a helmet, goggles, wrist guards, knee pads, elbow pads. You know, the whole she-bang! I bet that you will be more attentive the next time that you are making repairs, though. It will all be better before too awful long. I hope that it didnt do any brain damage cause you are a rather smart feller. God Bless! I will pray that you get better soon Hitman...
