Whats happening all? This place is pretty quiet in the morning hours. Let's pick it up a little. I can always screw something up with my computer to give you all something to do. :D I did have 4 random shutdowns with the new computer this morning and the only thing I could think of that was different was plugging in the speakers so I disconnected the mic plug and I've had no more shutdowns since but I think it may be that I need a better PSU so I'm going to buy that when funds become available. What are you all doing today?

Not much, work, the usual stuff. Got a pretty nice rig to build, some specs for you to drool at:

All stock *sigh* No overclocking fun.
But... Some benching for sure anyway. ;D

Let's see...dropped the kids off at school, battled the lack of sunlight and took some pics of an OCZ GameXStream 700w for an upcoming review, dinked around with the Titan Quest demo for a few (pretty fun game), talked to a dude selling his MSI K8N Diamond Plus and contemplated picking it up and selling my Asus A8N32-SLI, went out and had Chinese for lunch, and caught a Liger, which is pretty much my favorite animal. It's like a lion and a tiger mixed, bred for its skills in magic. Oh, and had Tammy take this pic of me (w/ her camera phone) in a Napolean Dynomite wig and glasses at a Halloween store:

Getting boring sitting / laying around. I'm starting to itch to use my new digital camera outside. I should be writing letters to dad's doctors to get ready to take the "family" to court, but I can't motivate. I'm not an evil person and don't want to have to do that.

Gonna surf ebay some more looking for a socket 478 Gigabyte mobo. I have a friend with an autistic child that has fallen on hard times. She hasn't worked much in a year due to gastric bypass surgery that went bad. She recently had surgery (week before me) to fix 13 blockages in her colon plus they found out the other doctor didn't do the bypass correctly. She ended up with 3 clots in her right arm just like my dad after her PICC line was removed. Thankfully, she called me to tell me about her arm blowing up, dad died a week after his blew up. She persisted, they found the problem, she'll be ok.

She bought Medal Of Honor for her son, it won't work on her Pent. 3, so, I want to do something nice for her, I have some parts laying around.

I'm also on a candle search kick. Seems my favorite scent is discontinued. Candles are such a rip off. If I could find the honeysuckle at a walmart (which is affordable) I could get it cheaper than Yankee Candles which cost 3x as much. Every Walmart I go to is sold out. Someone must have had a wedding and bought them all :(

I updated the drivers right after the build was done. The mic is not the problem since I've had a couple more reboots since. The PSU is really not a recommended one for this board and the manual says it may reboot if I use the 20 pin PSU which this one is.

Sounds like your starting to feel a little better Sue at least enough to want to go do things anyway.

Try going into the CP - system - advanced tab. Look for startup & recovery. Click setings and uncheck automatically restart. This will give you a blue screen with an error.
