Default What MP3/MP4 Player?

I saw the thread about what cell phone you are using and thought maybe we need one for what portable mp3/mp4 player you are using!

So let me start the run:

Microsoft Zune 80GB

(upgraded from my 20GB Sony NW-A3000 also known as the pebble)

WinAmp... oh as in portables? I have a 2GB USB stick that plugs into my truck radio (it has a USB port for this purpose) that I use.... no need for a regular dedicated portable like an iPod or Zune

Thanks HL and Corsair!

Creative Zen Vision M, 30 gigs of awesome. Plays movies really well, and pretty tough too. Looks kinda bad, since it's been beat up enough that the front plastic that makes up the button is cracked, but it's 100 percent functional, lol. (and the only scratch on the screen came from the case I got to protect it from scratches, grrrrr.)

Bit of an old model here, Sony NW-E507 1GB model.

It's a good player, 30 hours battery life is pretty much the main thing about it. Charges very quickly too, under an hour.
It's small and was good when I worked at the computer shop, I could do my stuff, put the SVM function on and listen to music. :)
1GB is not enough though, I would go for 2GB now, for those days you don't quite feel like listening to one of the 10 albums you got on it. Considering I did 12 hours days on Thursday and Friday, you quickly go through them.

If there is a final hour, let's hope for a higher power. One by one, and two by two, I have ammo, what about you?

HAHA--was it a plastic one? I always find these make more scatches than prevent!

Im guessing a few of you lot are from places other than the UK?

I just wanted to know if the new Zune is very popular around the world because it is not out in the UK yet (not many around here) and so I had to get it imported!

I tend to use the excuse to myself that I use my MP3 player alot and so can warrant spending a bit of £££ on it!

I use my mp3 into an amp on random at work and so sits used for at least 7 hours every weekday. (I managed to warrant a good model for myself)

Yeah, I'm in the US. And I don't use my Zen nearly as much as I used to, back when I'd use it to watch a movie or a few shows and then listen to music for the rest of my shift (8+ hours a day for months on end), since I just use my laptop while I'm at work.

And yes, it was one of those DLO jacket things, with the plastic protector on the screen... it was made of fail.

well mines a sony A805, i love it. plays movies for 10 hours on its 2 inch screen and plays music for 30 hours. well designed and the latest models offer windows media player drag and drop support so no using sonicstage. alot of people didnt like it but im one of the few that are rather fond of ATRAC.
