Once NASA gets their near earth asteroid tracking system actually running, I have a feeling we are all gonna be worried about asteroids.

This is ridiculous. We have a larger chance of getting nuked back to the stone age and/or wiped out by rogue countries like North Korea and Pakistan who are busy developing nuclear weapons than we do getting hit by a friggin hunk of frozen rock from space.

I remember reading Popular Science magazine, and they said that the impact wouldn't wipe us out, only a few countries would be vaporized, Venezuela, I think was one.
