Vending Machine (Rant)

Alright right I am now 0 for 3 this week with the soda machine downstairs at work. To start off, these issues started when they raised the price from $1 to $1.25 for a 20 oz bottle of soda last week. Friday I went to get a Mt Dew hit the button and got Diet Mt Dew. I hate diet soda, but I was so thirsty I drank it anyways. Then Sat I hit the button for a Coke and got a Dr. Pepper, not a big deal I can drink either. So today I went to buy a Coke, put in my money hit the button, the vending machine does it's thing, and nothing came out. WTF! SOB machine took me for $1.25. I freaking hate vending machines. If a store clerk did that crap they would get fired.

Try leaving a sticky note with your name and the amount the machine ate on the machine. I know with the vending machine at my work, if you do that, when they fill it up, they'll get you a refund.

We also have a coke vending machine with mountain dew in it. :D

I work in a building that has probably 500+ people in it at any given time, the chances of the sticky note making it until restock is slim to none. Not to mention it would probably cause a trend of sticky notes. I could call the number on the machine, but it's just not worth the effort, it's easier to bitch about it and move on.

I used to fill vending machines. Your best bet is to call the number on the machine. State law pretty much requires there be a number on the machine. Tell them what is going on, the fill person will be spoken to.

Also, sticky notes on the machine pisses us off. Oh and to those wanting to cheat the system and get a free drink... we know how much that machine puts out and how much money is in it.

Also if you have a business with 500+ people in it they should be there daily. Catch them.

He's in the Army. If it runs like every vending machine I've had near me in the Army, it's got soda's in it for two days and is out the rest of the time.
