UFC 83: Serra vs St. Pierre - Anyone watching?

Gonna be a helluva fight! Of course, I'm pulling for GSP like crazy; can't stand that cocky twit Serra always talking smack. Anyway, who's gonna be watching the fight? Any favorites? My picks are in bold. =)

Charles McCarthy vs. Michael Bisping
Mark Bocek vs. Mac Danzig
Joe Doerksen vs. Jason MacDonald
Jason Day vs. Alan Belcher
Ed Herman vs. Demian Maia
Rich Clementi vs. Sam Stout
Brad Morris vs. Cain Velasquez
Kuniyoshi Hironaka vs. Jonathan Goulet

Mac Danzig, Michael Bisping and Ed Herman are all monsters, and all are TUF season winners. These guys go 110% and always at full throttle. Gonna be some excellent bouts!

I think Serra will win it, but I like you think he's a cocky lil dolt and hope GSP wins.

Not too damn bad! I was 5/5 leading into and including the Serra and Pierre fight. The Nate Quarry fight was comical towards the end (yet poignant in the fact that Quarry had to redeem himself), and the Rich Franklin bout was completely unexpected the way that Rich executed his gameplan against Lutter. Extremely good fight.

The Serra fight, I thought, went as expected. GSP had a point to prove, was focused, had trained hard, and had little emotion or regard for Serra. GSP's gameplan was flawlessly executed, and Serra couldn't find his rhythm the entire time he battled against GSP's repeated takedowns and myriad of knees to the ribs which is what stopped the fight in Pierre's favor.

This had to be one of the best UFC lineups and subsequent fights I have ever seen in one night.

That was pretty good stuff. I watched hockey first, Boston Bruins vs Montreal Canadiens, that was a defeat for Montreal. :(
GSP fight was just as expected. Know the guy, he's a freaking machine. It was unexpected that Serra won back then, really. St-Pierre was far from being done yet they stopped the fight...
Other fights weren't bad. It kinda sucked that they put Jonathan Goulet after GSP because everyone was gone by then and although Goulet doesn't have much endurance when being hit on the jaw he's a good brawler in my opinion. Always gives a decent show.

Not sure if any of you guys saw this. Looks like Caleb had his contract yanked after his pathetic bout with Nate Quarry in UFC 83 this past Saturday. If any of you guys watched the fight, you know what I am talking about. But seriously, come on: 30-24? That's the first time I've heard of a fighter with a judged score that low.
