I have been getting a few of them since we got a new phone number and I like messing with them when I have the time. Here's a website that gives you ideas on dealing with them. Personally I like wasting their time as much as possible and if that is the only job you can find then you better expect to be treated like crap.

I deal with them at work and had some guy pitching their VoIP services to me on our tech support line saying our current VoIP services are outdated and yada yada... I stated how can they be outdated when the software is only a few months old, allows us to work from home and have conferences with video with no audio stutter and started going into some details but nothing specific (basically to waste his time and mine)....
Was fun listening to him stutter...

I hate telemarketers, not 10 min after we got our phone connected here in OK they started calling. I entered my name on the national Do Not Call List, so they have slowed down considerably. I probably only get 2 or 3 a week, where before I was getting 7-10 a day.

My mom really lets some of them have it when they dare to call.
