Ok it's kind of cool going from upright to recumbent but the bike is dorky looking with the fenders and rack on the back.

Only reason I can think of is that it's easier to get leverage in the upright position when going uphill.

Interesting ... has the "Dork Factor" that might attract the right kind of people.
errr ... Dorks.

My guess is that it will attract the type of Dorks that don't have a lot of money and not the wealthy type Dork ... who might figure that a hot car will get them more girls than a "Dork Mobile."

I coulda sworn that I was seeing tape between black rim glasses and a pocket protector. ... maybe it is just that it reminded me of that ... or perhaps the Camera Guy had them ... I know their were some there ... had to be!

Just funnin' ---- I love that people invent ... even if it is dorky ... at least they are creative and ... if they keep it up ... they will hit something right on some day!

The video is from a website based in The Netherlands. Bicycles are a very popular form of transportation in Amsterdam and other large cities in The Netherlands. People there would probably be more interested in this type of bike.

Hell you can't find a place to park your car in Amsterdam because every available space is taken by a crapload of bikes.

No doubt gleaned from the .nl in the web address of the video... but yeah, Korea is another one of those places that bikes outnumber cars on a bizarre scale.

I never really noticed that when I was there. Maybe in certain parts of the country. Not in Seoul so much. The sidewalks are too crowded with people and the streets with cars for bikes to maneuver too well. I mostly noticed scooters.
