Default Sweet Jesus it's cold!

Some of you might laugh at this, but it's 28°F outside right now, and with the humidity and wind chill, more like 22°. There's snow and ice on the ground, and icicles on cars - Sweet Jesus, its cold!

I know the midwest has been getting slammed with ice, but remember, I'm from California where it never typically gets colder than high 30s to low 40s. This stuff about getting into the 20s is a new one on me! And we're supposed to get a low of 17° tonight. It got to 14° last night. I've only seen real snow twice in my life, and if it weren't for a freak thing in Cali once, it would only be the one time in Wisconsin back in '88.

How cold is it by you?

Yeah, I guess if you like swimming in freezing water...

16 inches of snow? I think at the most we got maybe an inch or so in some spots. And I got an extra day off because of the snow and ice. More the ice really - my job didn't want me coming down the hill to ABQ on ice.

I think we are expecting it to get onto the low 50s this weekend... and maybe high 40s into the beginning of the week... when you add in 90% humidity, that 40 feels like 10

Thanks HL and Corsair!

They tell me that January is actually the coldest month here, and that we should expect regular snow from now on. I don't know, I think it's warmer in my refrigerator, LOL!

A balmy 29 F. here in the Cleveland, Oh. suburbs. Snowed a little yesterday but just real fine powder. Right now maybe 1" or trace amounts on the ground. Right now at about 1:25 AM Sunday it isn't doing much of anything out there.
