Stanford is not only for folding Stanford Team’s Next-Generation Robot Car
This is a neat Story about how they are working on a computer or "robot" controlled car.. now just need to have it scan and read speed limit signs, allow for a driver override (for lead foots like me), and force old people to actually drive the limit (plus automatically turn off blinkers after the lane change and not 30 miles down the road).
As long as the first decade or two it is able to keep a constant "eye" on all other cars in every direction... never know when little miss teen will bump the steering wheel while putting on makeup, changing the music and reaching back for her school papers).
Also will need some sort of person identification so someone can't steal the car at 2AM without proper thumbprint or fingerprints (I think Lexus has that now)
Thanks HL and Corsair!
