Speech topics

Hey everyone,

I'm doing a persuasive speech in my public speaking class in about a week.

I do not currently have a topic I want to speak about. Anyone have any suggestions on what I could speak about? It doesn't have to be really big or complicated, just something.

Only restrictions I'm placing is not on linux and not on malware (already did speeches on them). I would also like to stay computer related.

So any suggestions? I'm open to anything within reason.

Mmm, I know. How about a persuasive speech about the benefits of participating in distributed computing, ie Folding @ Home or the SETI project? Course, these are just suggestions, as there are a lot more distributed computing organizations out there to choose from.

Lol, I don't remember.......

Edit:
I did a persuasive speech on why you should get a mac instead of a PC, and explained all the reasons why..... the whole class said to me afterwards "Wow! I didn't know about any of that, my next computer Will definitely need to be a mac. :)"

I also recently did a persuasive speech on why you should put your boys in Boy Scouts, that went pretty well.... except the whole group was girls so........ yea, but the moms were like "If I ever have a son, i'm definitely putting him in scouts."

lol, I love persuasive speaking, especially trying to sell something to someone, those are the best.

And I also enjoy humor speech's, making people laugh etc... very fun stuff.

Oh come on, you KNOW that Mac's are better for photoshopping, movie making and all that media stuff, the PC's are there for gaming and overclocking.

whats great is that Linux works on either and can replace whatever crappy MS/Apple OS may be installed on it
