Smoking is disgusting.....and I chewed tobacco for 15 years.

Living in Vegas, up until this last year you couldn't go into a restaurant without smelling like smoke when you left. If smoking didn't affect people around the smoker so much, I could care less.....

I don't mind the no smoking restaurants as I can see the need to keep things healthier and cleaner there but taking it out of bars and away from almost all public places is just as dumb as can be. Give me a waiver to sign and I will keep on smoking at my outdoors table while eating.

I don't so much blame smokers as I blame big tobacco companies....they sell a product thats extremely addictive, and which has put a major burden on the healthcare system.....without a single care.

I'm allergic to cigarette smoke, it gives me an asthma like attack if theres too much of it. I remember going out to the restaurants with my folks when I was younger, and people were always bitching about how the non-smoking side was a waste of space, and if people didn't like their smoking they could leave. If they couldn't get a table in the smoking side, they'd say that they're non-smokers and grab a table there and precede to light em up. To make matters worse, both my parents were chain smokers (still are), and I was stuck off in the smoking side anyway...man did that suck.

Still have to wear my shirt over my nose in public places sometimes just to keep from gagging Such fond memories.

Although I believe cigs are absolutely the most disgusting thing that one can consume, and I will NEVER smoke in my life, you should be able to if you want to in non-confined areas and outside.

But that's just re-god-damn-diculous. Whoever thought of that shirt should burn in hell.

I will smoke when and where I want.... but I am also a responsible person so its not like I will stand 2 feet away from a door to a busy restaurant and smoke... I know to step a good 15-20 feet away so the wind blows it away... like I said, education will go further then outright bans
