Default silence is the new way

This new build has no sound....is that the way Vista Ultimate 64bit is supposed to be? I hope not . Im working on it though. Could it be ,that I dont have external speakers? My speakers are in the monitor.

No sound? It's probably because you haven't installed the drivers for the onboard sound chip. DFI should have included a disc with the drivers you need, which you need to install after you load windows to get things like sound and sometimes ethernet ports to work. Also check on DFI's website to see if they have updated drivers for 64-bit Vista.
