Ender's Game... not a bad book/series. Only read the first book though. There was this series called the Seventh Tower or something like that. I used to like reading them in elementary school. Don't read much sci-fi now. Mostly books based on fact... like Angels and Demons (I love this book). - Core 2 Quad Q6600 - DFI Infinity 975X - 4GB Corsair XMS2 w/ DHX DDR2-800 - 250GB Seagate 7200.10RPM + 160GB Hitachi 5400.4RPM - ATi Radeon X1900XT 256MB - Cooler Master Centurion 5 + OCZ StealthXStream 600W - Acer 19" P191W Monitor - Logitech Z-5500 Digital + Logitech MX Revolution - Vista Ultimate x64 Dell Inspiron 5150 - Pentium 4 @ 3.06GHz w/ HT Tech - 512MB PC2700 RAM - 80GB WD Scorpio 5400RPM HD - nVidia GeForce FX Go5200 32MB - XP Pro SP3

No Science Fiction here. But I do read Fantasy books. Particularly R.A. Salvatore's Legend of Drizzt. They are a fairly easy read, and a very good series all together. Right now I decided to take a break from Fantasy books so I'm reading a book called "13 Cent Killers". It's about the Vietnam War and focuses primarily on snipers stationed in Vietnam. ![]() I Like Watercooling. D-Tek Fuzion, MCP655, MCR220

Tad Williams' Dragonbone Chair series called Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn... not quite Science fiction, but Fantasy fiction is enjoyed by most of us. I have read a lot of fan fiction in the Serenity/Firefly 'verse as well. ____________________________ _= AMD 2700+ OC'd to 3200 =_ -=1GB RAM, ATI 9600XT 512MB=- --------------------------------

Well, I dunno if it counts as reading in the same sense as a novel goes, but I absolutely love comic books (and they do fit the sci fi category). I'm currently reading the Civil War books being put out by Marvel. I regulary read The Walking Dead (definately check it out, it's in black and white, but still a fantastic series), Exterminators, Batman (Hush and Long Halloween are my two faves as well as Year One), I read the Avengers Disassembled and House of M arcs, Amazing Spiderman, and I'll read just about anything that looks interesting. For Cyberlon, you should check out Joss Whedon's run on the X-men books, as well as the Serenity comics that came out a last year which bridge the gap between the series and the movie. As far as regular books go I have read stuff by Philip K Dick, Isaac Asimov, H.P. Lovecraft, Michael Crichton, H.G. Wells, C.S. Lewis, Tolkien and my all time favorite novel is The Once and Future King by T.H. White (Including the Book of Merlyn). As of right now I am reading the Left Behind series by Dr. Tim Lahaye.

They aren't science fiction, but anything by Terry Brooks, including the Shannara and Landover sets. I also like the Dragonlance series, specifically those books written by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. As far as science fiction goes, I still, to this day, enjoy the original Star Wars trilogy books tremendously. Last edited by garetjax; January 7th, 2007 at 18:47.
