Santa Letters Postmarked from North Pole

Of interest to anyone with young children, you've undoubtedly seen websites offering custom letters from Santa, complete with a genuine postmark from the North Pole. Prices generally range from $10-$15 and up, but you can do this on your own for just the cost of postage.

1) Find or create a nifty Christmas template, and use it to compose a personalized letter from Santa to your child.

2) Seal the letter in a pre-addressed envelope, and don't forget the stamp!

3) Send the letter in another envelope to:

The free service will send out your pre-addressed letter, complete with a USPS postmark from North Pole, AK. I've been doing this for past several years, and the kids really look forward to it.

Thanks for the heads up. My daughter is still working on composing her first letter to Santa. She's due to hand it in to "Santa" this week, so the timing on this is great!

As a heads up, you'll want your letter(s) to arrive by December 15th (this Saturday), otherwise it's a crap-shoot whether or not they'll get returned in time for Christmas.
