On a related note, the whole Miss USA and Miss Nevada issue is completely out of control. I could care less if a 20 yr old lady wants to party and have fun....its her life, and she deserves to live it. As to Miss Nevada, who cares about her partying, especially if it happened before she even was in the pageant !!!! Is she wants to show some skin, and stick her tongue down some other girls throat...I'm all for it..

Not something I was following. I saw it briefly on a commercial or something and never gave it a 2nd thought until now.

Miss America has always represented a clean image. Years ago, Vanessa Williams had the same type of scandal for her pics. I can handle her having ink; I could probably handle nude photos if they were done tastefully. The photos that were linked were not tasteful. Miss Nevada should have resigned. I don't feel that she should have competed in the 1st place knowing these photos existed.

Kids today have a don't care attitude. I was at my daughters school last week, some boy was throwing "F" bombs in the guidance department. My mouth dropped. No one seemed to pay attention to his very loud rant. When I was in school, this would not be acceptable behavior.

We need to get a grip on this generation. This incident is a step in that direction.

My problem with that theory is EVERYONE has skeletons in their closet, and no one is perfect. These people (especially The Donald), have no problems telling people how to live their lives or whats right or wrong.....but they themselves have done far worse than pose for some pictures.


As to the Vanessa Williams thing.....people gotta eat, and pay their bills...Not that I'd call them art, but I had no real problem with a lady, or man (not my cup of tea) showing off their bodies. I think the problem with this is it comes down to a scumbag with a camera wanting to capitalize off someone elses misfortune or hard luck......look at the "Girls Gone Wild" guy.

I agree with the rest of your point, I completely agree that this generation is completely out of control, and we can thank parents who don't give a damn, a poor education system, and these people who want to decide whats right and wrong for our kids (no spanking, no religion, etc)......its only beginning, and its going to get much worse

It all boils down to poor upbringing. Parents are in a world of hurt these
days with kids. Whatever happened to spanking kids that got out of line
or did something *bad*? God forbid we punish kids anymore...

Rosie and Donald are both overpaid idiots. When moronic celebrities and sports figures are considered "heroes" in our society we've hit rock bottom.
I don't think Miss Nevada posing nude or semi-nude is the problem, the problem comes up when she competed in the pageant knowing full well her activities were in direct conflict with what the pageant is supposed to be about. I agree, she should have resigned, and before the pictures even surfaced. The Donald should have fired the other gal too, screw the ratings, or lack thereof. Hell, by him firing her it probably would have helped the pageant.

There are 3 kinds of people in this world; the sheep, the sheep dogs and the wolves. The sheep are the masses, those who don't mind being told what to think, how to think and when to think it. The sheep dogs are those that are entrusted to protect the sheep even though the sheep don't like them or are afraid of them. Then you have the wolves, the ones who prey on the sheep. These days it's getting harder and harder to tell who is who though.

wait a minute.....those pics were taken before she ran for Miss Nevada........so they should have no influence as to her future. I think it sets a bad precedent in that people are going to make mistakes, but to get by in life you need to hide those mistakes.
Also, do you think there would have been any outcry had she been kissing a mna rather than a woman?
