| Colonel Calamity | I have been listening to the live stream and have not heard the official announcement... he is just blah blah blah-ing about kids without fathers, other countries, economics.... I say good riddance, he just reminds me too much of a "centrist" Kerry (he is a bit too liberal to be a true Republican but too far right to be a Democrat) ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! | Hope you're right. CNBC (biased? We're not biased) which is on here at work had headline underneath claiming he's dropping out. ![]() |

| Colonel Calamity | yep he just announced it... just seconds ago... he is stepping down 12:08PM CST 7Feb08 edit: and I wouldn't mind if he were to be announced as a VP as we do need a more centrist outlook on some things and a balance to the the office ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! | I would vote for McCain but if he chooses Romney as a running mate forget it. IMHO the Republicans have a much better chance of winning if they don't go too far right. |

| The differences between McCain and Clinton can be measured with this instrument. millimeters.jpg Why do you think the NY Slimes endorsed him? Should be a day of celebration for all the move-on, lefty libs. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| I've heard a lot of Right Wing Republicans say they would vote for Hillary before McCain so thats not exactly a ringing endorsement for him. Fortunately Obama's going to win.![]() Just saw this. | Colonel Calamity | I have heard the exact opposite, one main thing that is uniting many of those undecided or flaky lefties is the pure hatred for Hil-liar-y and dislike for what Obama has done and voted for... and most true right wingers were swinging for Huckabee or Thompson... either way they are all a bunch of pompous jerks.... when I am of legal age to run for president, maybe I should ![]() ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair!
