SF guys take the pin out and then put the grenade with the spoon into their ammo carrier that way all they have to do is pull it out and toss it. damn near need an EOD team everytime they bring one in to the ER

Zambini, I have a question: I cannot find pink rubber bands, will blue ones work too?

On the M67, we would remove the pin, but keep the safety retaining clip on, then when we needed them would only require to use the thumb of the throwing hand to activate and viola'; easy detonation on target.

Looking at Zambini's picture, I don't suppose they make 'nades in left handed models? Although now that I think about it, someone will take what I said the wrong way, and go into minute specific details about how a grenade is ambidexterous, when all I was attempting to do was a bit of tongue in cheek humor.

It would certainly not get him any admiration from the Police. But it doesn't have any of the markings that would denote a real grenade. Almost looks like a training grenade someone painted olive drab. There's no screw in for the detonator up top. So looks like a fake to me. At least, it doesn't have the 1/2 a thread sticking out that I've seen on real ones in the past.

I've been around munitions before in my previous life, and any that I have seen that were for training or were non-explosive either had a thick band of blue paint around the munition, or had very large letters that said "INERT". But still, walk into a bank with Zambini's little toy, fake or not, and watch people crap their pants and hit the floor; grab a bag and fill up!

Mmmm! Extra holiday spending cash never felt so good!

That's why I think it's a fake.

Real munitions have certain markings on them denoting the model #, LOT #, type, (HE, Phosphorous,) etc.
