Donald Rumsfeld briefed President Bush this morning. He told the President that three Brazillian soldiers were killed in Iraq. To everyone's amazement, all of the color ran from the President's face. Then he collapsed onto his desk, head in hands, visibly shaken, almost whimpering.

Finally, he composed himself and asked Rumsfeld, "Just exactly how many is a brazillion?"

That would be funnier but I think he's dumb enough to think that.

wow that has been modified recently... I heard that much different during the days of Clinton. also it has been modified online on different sites, some say Rumsfeld, some say Gates, some are generalized....

This is how I heard it originally years ago:
