| I'm Evil | I was watching an interview/debate on fox news the other day....a couple conservatives and a couple Liberals in a round table format, discussing a variety of issues. Over the course of the session, something that i noticed, and have noticed in just about every similiar session since.....is that they act like friggin children. One side will get called out for doing something, and instead of saying "Yes, thats not a good way to handle things, we need to change"....even though they know its wrong......they say stuff like "Well, they are doing it too, so we can do it", or they change the topic, or refuse to address the issue at all. In my opinion, the people making the decisio0ns in this country are an embarrassment, and the fact that people vote for them and give these people power is a direct reflection of our society....... sorry for the rant, but i've seen 8 yr olds represent themselves better, and show better judgement and social skills than these clowns. Our Legislative branch is basically a bunch of spoiled kids. Our current executive branch is just as bad. The media is no better and Candidates would rather spin crap than just address an issue head on. This administration has been worst of all. They have made mistake after mistake. OK...fine. That's bad - but mistakes do happen. My beef is that they always blame someone else or justify mistakes by spinning up a totally irrelevant connection (as in not connected, but they make it seem so). "Oh...the left is after us" "Its a left wing conspiracy" "The Left is playing Politics" You can replace Left with what ever you want - right, conservative, <enter group here>. Argg... I can't even start on this.....this is why I have basically stop watching TV. But hey, we voted for them (or will). We watch them on TV. We must like it. Manta | |

Funny, (or sad) but if you think about it, the vast majority of those 686 people would fail miserabily at a real job. For the better part we the people are represented by over 600 inept people. Ron | |

| All good points to analyze! Most are corrupt. We all can see this.Too many Politicians are "bought". Are any one of them held accountable? Not that i see. So who would we elect that we sincerely believe would maintain,Honor and INTEGRITY? The saying goes "If you cant beat em, join em" I believe that some do enter into Politics with admirable intentions, but many are coerced into the corrupt system we all face everyday. In the Zogby Poll almost 50% of Americans want "The Decider" and his sidekick Impeached! I am one of them! Do you think they should be Impeached? Has anyone been held accountable for the failure, on so many levels, to actually not stop the attacks on September 11, 2001. And some of you think im crazy for entertaining the "Conspiracies" of our Government, and the world economy,ForeignRelations,Politics, Education,etc,etc....... If you actually do extensive research about 9/11,read the 9/11 Commission Report( which reads like a 6th grade school book),just take all the info available, from as many news sources as possible, you just might question the "stories"told by Mainstream Media. If one cannot logically derive from all the information out there, that the attacks were a " False Flag Operation",then one is as brainwashed as the "powers that be" (behind the scenes) need you to be.There is so much info that is tied together, its crazy. I am not asking anyone to believe what i believe,if you Love your country, and want to see it succeed, you need to research everything. We have a wonderful thing named the"Internet" are they not, trying to disrupt it or not?????? All i can say is "Follow the Money".."Follow the Money"..."Follow the Money" See who benefits, make comparisons to the "History" that we keep repeating.Be informed of things going on "under the table".The "North American Union" is a good place to start. How about the "Federal Reserve" which is a Private Entity, not of our Government. One thing takes you to another if your truly looking for the connections. We need to respect our " Constitution of the United States" The Law above all Law! And "The Bill of Rights" Flame away if you need too. Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe. Amd X2 4200 2GB Corsair XMS Extreme. BFG 8800GTS 320 OC2 ThermalTake "Big Typhoon". Audigy 2 ZS. However, the thread was about frustration or distaste for the majority of our elected officials. There was a focus on the finger pointing and what I see as generally a failure of many of them to take responsibility for their actions. That includes the White House, however I should note the White House past and present. Overall I see a higher level of honesty and wisdom in a well versed 5th grader than I see in the US Congress or Senate. Just my take... Ron | |
