PokerStars.com .... How'd I get $5??

So for some reason, I checked my Cashier today to see how many freeplay chips I had.... and I had $5 in real money....

I already know the answer to it, but do they give out $5 randomly the more you play?

I have no transaction record on my CC or in my email... so I don't know what the deal is...

I already sent an email to their support team.
Just wondering if anyone here knows what the dealio is...

All I can figure....are you a "new" member? And if so,they do that for new,first time members,from time to time.Other than that,zip ya yap shut and play it.

I don't want to play with it cuz they might be like "you owe us 5 bucks"....

But I'm not going to use real money in online poker. I find it silly.
a) its not half as fun as real poker using real money
b) its much more difficult, as you can't read their faces/tone/speech patterns

It's just a different form of poker, and still has it's reads/tells, and style.

If you go to vegas and find a table, it might have a couple players at it and the rest are blank faced just as much as Pokerstars. I seem to sit by and across from the tourist that simply doesn't "get" the game, can't push the bets across the line, can't hide their hand, etc...that's just as hard IMO. Speaking of poker on TV, many of them are PokerStars.com invites. You'll hear the big guys mutter things like "must be an online thing", and they're mostly correct. It's different and simply different for them to read correctly.

Come join us a couple times! It's fun to just BS about nothing in general, but you will also hear us reading digital avatars by their play. We play at fun (free) tables, but may lose one while they go have a run at some cash. I'm up and down at the money tables, just like I may be at a live table. I like it because it has the roots level feel to it, like we're playing poker in the garage...by the kegorator.
