Default Paul McCartney

Someone posted a link at another site, there was a small blurb about Linda speaking out from the grave.

I've questioned a few things about Paul. When he married Heather, Linda wasn't gone long. He always said she was the love of his life and now here he was with this younger broad. I had my doubts about Heather, she looks like a gold digger.

Can it be true that Paul used to abuse his wives?

Nothing on the wiki about it. I wouldn't put it past anyone, but I can't say that I've heard anything about it in my life. I'm a big Beatles fan, but I only listen to the music. I don't know much about the actual people themselves LOL

I'm not a Beatles fan, but my guilty pleasure is reading "star" mags. In Touch, Life & Style, a neighbor trades me the Enquirer for mine. I thumb through the Enquirer - nothing to really read except the horoscope lol

I remember Paul & Linda when I was growing up, even have the Band on the run album in my collection.

Guess we'll be finding out soon enough.

If he is a wife beater....I'll be pissed. I felt so sorry for him when he lost Linda. If she had to endure that crap, :mad2:

My dad used to get hammered-stupid drunk and beat up on my mom(and my bro and I ). That crap stopped when I was 15, my weight and height caught up with each other, and I put a royal stomping on him for going after my mom.

When he woke up the next morning, I told him *every* time he touched a woman after that, if it was out of anger, he'd get a mud hole stomped in his chest.

Roles got reversed real quick. Instead of me being afraid of my dad coming home every night, he was afraid when I came home from work if he had touched my mom or brother. Seems like waking up from a drunken stupor getting your ass kicked didn't sit well with him.

Later on in life, he and I finally became friends and got some stuff out of the way. But one time his new wife of 6 years called me and said he had slapped her. I was on my way there, now in the Amry and "there" was 6 hours away, when my dad called apologizing. I hung up, drove up in his drive way a couple hours later and b*tch slapped him. He never touched her again.

It's hard to describe loving someone and hating them, but that was my relationship with my old man. He kept his hands off my mom after the third time of getting his butt whipped.

That's my thing with seeing this too. When she passed away I felt so bad the love of his life was gone.

I'm sorry this happened in your family. Domestic violence is a very serious issue, some people don't take seriously.

People make mistakes and grow up, hopefully learning from the mistakes.

I was a huge Beatles fan when I was a kid and I find it hard to believe that Paul would do that but you never know what their life was like at home.

It's funny - in a sad sort of way - when you read stuff like this.

On the one hand, here's this famous and rather wealthy fella who apparently had everything going for him. Love, money, fame, talent. Then he loses his love, but his money finds him another quickly enough. His fame continues to grow, but so far as i know, his talent just sort of evapourated. Has he written anything new in the last couple of years?

On the other hand, he's rich and foamous, and I just can't bring myself to really cae about people like him. He's got money - So what? He's 'famous', so who gives a rats behind? A rich famous person who is followed around by the paparatzzi (mis-spelling deliberate) appears to be grief stricken - I'm sure only because it was expected of him. Now he has a new 'love'.

Pfeh.

On another track, have you ever heard the old saying that goes 'still waters run deep'?

Man, bro. Harsh life I guess. There's always those people. My dad doesn't get drunk or hit my mom, but he's full of himself and I hate it. He only thinks about himself and no one else, not even my mom. He even told my family straight up that he puts other stuff in front of his family and wife. My mom got real sad after that. I started getting mad after that. The relationship between me and my dad now is iffy. I get mad at him real easily.

My father was a great father. he taught me how to be a man and how to cope with lifes problems, may he rest in peace. I feel for those of you who missed out on this aspect of life, what I wouldnt give for another day with DAD.
