Wow... upper AND lower case!

Thanks for the laugh. That was awesome. I think I'll make a retro ad for a thermaltake product.

I remember being excited when 500mb HDs came out, I ran out and bought one. My buddy told me, dude, you will never use up a 500mb HD. Funny how people still say that about HDs today. If I had 100 terabytes it still wouldn't be enough.

Man, I thought I'd never fill up this 160GB HD.... boy was I wrong.

Ironic part was, I was dead sure I'd fill up my 30GB iPod but I've never gotten close. I've got like 8GB left.

Although those systems (and their prices) seem laughable now, my old Atari was an absolute God-send when I bought it back in '86. I'm a terrible typist and had just started grad school. After about two months of two or three short papers every week and five or six longer papers due at the end of the quarter, I was at my wit's end. With the old Atari I could type as best I could, correct my mistakes, have the guy down the hall proof read it, push print, then grab a magazine, go down to the john and relax as my latest masterpiece entered the world.

Seriously, although it was little more than a glorified word processor, I couldn't have gotten through school without it.
