Oktoberfest 2007 (Pictures)

It's that time of year again. This was my 3rd Oktoberfest in a row, and will probably be my last since we are leaving Germany next week. This year my wife made me walk around Munich with her, instead of sitting in a beer tent and getting shnockered all day.

Native Americans in Germany? We have actually seen these same guys in Garmisch when we were there last year.

You can't really see it because of the construction, but this is the Munich Glockenspiel, which is the biggest cuckoo clock in the world.

What year did you go? I went in 05, 06 and 07 and had a good time all three years. Yes the Germans are really friendly, especially once they are drunk.

A little, I couldn't hold a conversation or anything, I know what certain words mean. I know enough to get around, I know my numbers to 100, and I know what words to use when buying something. I can get around on a German website, and I know most computer terms in German. All the places in the world that I have been English has proven to be more useful. Most of the time people want to speak English with you because it helps them improve their English.
