| Pretty much every school in Alabama is letting people out early. Here's why: WSFA TV Montgomery, AL - Doppler 12 StormVision TORNADOES! All over the place! One just touched down in Rucker Blvd. in Enterprise, I think another hit Enterprise and New Brockten. So if I and particularly Q-dude (who is in Enterprise as you all know) is not on for a while :S That's why! I have no power grid so if a power line goes down - poof! edit - WSFA TV Montgomery, AL - Enterprise Hit by Major Storm; School Roof Off Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 Conroe @ 2.80GHz Cooler Master GeminII - Thanks Rich and HL! | Hope everyone gets through it safe and sound. We had that storm front move through our area last night, knocked out power and had 2 tornadoes with it. Had most of my systems knocked out too (folders, didn't discover until this a.m.), lost about 8 hours of folding ![]() AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ Toledo @2211.3 MHz MS-7125 Rev 1.0 nForce4 K8N-Neo4 Plat Phoenix 6.00 PG 05/22/2006 BIOS 2 x OCZ4001024PF 1 GB PC3200/400 3-3-3-8 2T nVidia XFX GF8800GT 512 DX9c Samsung SyncMaster 930B 1 x WD800JB / 2 x WD2000JD HP DVD640 OCZ 520ADJ SLI PSU |

EDIT - btw, I think q-dude lives up on the YMCA road, he probably doesn't have power but I don't think the tornado hit up there. His kid is the one I'm worried about, he goes to Enterprise high school, but I think he's only in the 8th grade which would be the middle school. | Colonel Calamity | wow... I am maybe a hour south and all we've had are heavy winds, barely any rain... but the humidity is killing me.... hope Quake is ok, I just saw some some local news clips... 8 confirmed dead in the high school and 5 more in a trailer park in town... I have been there, I have a picture from 2-3 years ago of the school, from almost the exact same spot as this picture was taken: ![]() edit: Quakes last post was 8 hours ago and Fort Ruckers military are there in town helping to clean up so either he has no power to post and/or he is there helping dig students out of the high school and town also looking at the currently signed on members, his name is on the list..... maybe he left is connection on... who knows ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! | I'm Diggin it! | Hey folks. First off, we are all alive thank God! My house is destroyed. The wall to the back of my house is in the living room along with the chimney. The computer room, along with my computers and the hardware I was reviewing is gone. As near as I can tell, everything in the computer room was sucked through the kitchen and out of the hole where the bay windows used to be. My son and I were in the house when the tornado passed less than 50 yards away. To say that he and I were praying our butts off is an understatement. My son is probably going to need some counseling after this as pieces of the house were being literally disappearing around us. I've taken some pictures and will post them over the next few days when I can. We are at my mother's house, luckily, they were spared! Not much else to say really. I'm beat, exhausted, confused and overwhelmed. But I'm alive, my family is alive and the animals are alive. Unfortunenately, my neighbors aren't so lucky. Their 13 year old son is missing. If you're the praying type, please pray for Enterprise, Alabama. The whole area looks like a bombed out city in Iraq, just no sand. At some point in the future, I'll make a post about what my son and I experienced.
