| Hey ... these are great! I heat up a super large teflon pan "very hot" and toss in some fine powder seasoning [Garlic, and onion and a touch of cayenne etc.] and stir oat squares in ... and right before they are done I move them clear and toss in a bit of butter and tossem rapidly so they each have some ... way way superior to popcorn! My kids go nuts on em. Main: 3.6ghzE8400, Xigmatek, Asus p5Q45, PC 610W PSU, 4GB 6400, XP Pro, 500GB, 22" + (2)19" WS LCD's w/ Palit 9600 GT, ATI4350 HT, 550Pro, and Dual Core Notebook. | Dude, at first I was horrified by that recipe. And then I made it in my mind. Now I'm about to make it for real. That sounds amazing! Oh, Oatmeal Squares, is there anything you can't do?! ![]() |

Hehe ... yeah ... My family have been in the restaurant business for years. So I pretty much started Chef school at about 11 years old. Really ... it makes a fantastic and healthy snack ... just make sure all the seasonings are very fine powder for proper coating ... and make sure the salt is as well ... and easy does it. [I use sea salt or deep mine mineral salt] BTW- You should try my curried hemp nut and sesame butter hot sauted Elk ... hands down the best. Though I often prefer hot sauted lamb medalions with carmelized onion, and garlic glaze with purple rosemary and red wine.
