| Dell XPS M1330 - Notebook It's truly beautiful. With an optional upgrade to a LED screen, the thickness is only 2.21cm - that's 0.9" for you Americans - so you get sexier, but nicer screen...duh? AND it's only 4lbs...:| Now I want one LOL! Also has DX10 video card upgrade for only $100, and a "not worth it" 4GB RAM upgrade for $600...BS...just buy 2x2GB RAM and install it yourself, that's cheaper now lol. With good upgrades, it's just under $3000. Added Wireless N Card, 8400M GFX, Bluetooth built in, the most insane 3-year warranty ($400), SoundBlaster Audigy HD, TV Tuner, Fingerprint Reader...that sounds about right. | Ooooo, that does look pretty swell (for a laptop). I never really saw the point in a fingerprint reader, though. If you're keeping that important of a file, I wouldn't keep it on a laptop. | Modder-ator | That's not too outragous. Any top of the line notebook is going to cost at least 2 grand. I remember paying like $1700 for my 900Mhz PIII Dell Inspiron laptop back in 2001; even came complete with Windows ME! ![]() Last edited by gvblake22; July 10th, 2007 at 04:00. |

| Lol very well said blake, I agree. I can also build one hell of an amazing desktop for that price - with parts helluva lot better than the laptop (not that they aren't good by any means), but that's what you're sacrificing with a laptop. You don't have nearly as much power, but you can take it anywhere. For some it's worth it (soon it will be for me, definitely not yet), and for some it isn't. I still think this thing beats the HELL out of the MacBooks, and then kicks it while it's down, then comes back later and kicks it some more. |
