Isn't NT 4.0 the version that would run on PPC/DEC Alpha CPUs too?

Anyways, thats almost as good as what I got my hands on a few months ago. 8 Mhz 8086 w/640k of ram and a 20MB Seagate ST-225 5 1/4 hard drive!

Believe it or not at work we just upgraded our servers from NT 4.0 Server to 2k3 Server. I am talking in the last couple of months. They were even still running Exchange 5.5.

Only 16MB of ram, Compare that to Vista.

Wow, finally!
I used NT way back when the only other option was Win98, Win9x had terrible memory management, everything ran smother on NT.

I was forced to use NT at work. I hated it because it didn't support Plug-n-Pray. Installing it could be very painful. In 2002 they finally let us start installing W2k on clients, that was such a nice change.

I remember installing (trying to) drivers for simple things, NIC or soundcard, it seems so primitive by today's standards.

I also found this pair that would run NT without any problems. One is a Pentium 90Mhz, the other 133mhz or 166mhz. I wonder how much gold I can extract from the pins.

I tried drilling a hole in an old ceramic AMD K6 2 and it wouldn't work with a regular drill bit in a drill press. I was suprised. Anyone have any ideas?

You need a special glass/ceramic tile drill bit, I would know because I tried drilling holes in ceramic tiles before with a regular drill bit, which was useless.
When using the ceramic drill bit, put a bit of oil to make it easier to drill and avoid glass shards flying everywhere.
