| I was posting a few days ago and right in the middle of things... Poof... we were offline. The wife noticed HL widthdrawl symptoms immediately. Really pleased things are back up and running. Ron Last edited by Reloadron; June 2nd, 2008 at 09:44. |

| Colonel Calamity | Gave me some time to play some CS:S... I tried reading some other tech website pages and forums but they are all flamefests or so strict you cant say the word "crap" without getting banned... Glad to see HL back in action. ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. |

| Colonel Calamity | There was a fire in an electrical room at the server hosting facility which shut down thousands of servers. From the info I heard, no server equipment itself was damaged as it was an electrical room that caught fire. Some are running on generators but the rest on other floors are running off normal power. I don't have the entire story but thats the info I heard. ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. |

| We take both criticism and positive comments very positively | There was an explosion and fire at the datacenter where the HL server is housed. I've heard the damage was quite extensive, affecting more than 9000 servers from Saturday at around 3pm PST until after 1AM this morning. The main site is still not up, and I have no idea when, or if it will be. Our hosting company is working on it right now with no ETA. We were one of the lucky ones, our server was housed on the 2nd floor, all the servers on the first floor are being run by emergency generators and still are not up, and won't be fully operational for up to a week.
