Default New robot dog

This one is kind of scary. All of sudden I'm flashing back to Terminator! Sure, it makes a ton of noise and looks like hell, but think about the progamming that must have gone into it. Give it five years and the army'll have these outfitted with armor and guns walking around in Iraq. As long as it is OUR army I'm not too concerned, but still its kind of creepy.

Oh my god, for some reason that part where it was slipping on the ice was about the funniest thing I've seen in a while. Oh my god I was cracking up!!!
Pretty cool piece of machinery though!

Reminds me of the movie The Fly.... except instead of a person a big dog got zapped.
If they can quiet it down to less than 10-20dB then they have a crazy war machine on their hands... and enough to keep our men and women out of harms way.

Thanks HL and Corsair!

That is awesome...when it got kicked and the way it kept itself from falling over, even with compensating for that kind of payload...extremely impressed.

I couldn't help but laugh too for some reason.

Very impressive work. I think it's kind of scary by the way it mimics reactions and reflexes a living being would have, but doesn't quite have the whole set of features. (hey where's it's head?)
I can't imagine the time it takes to program those things. I love the part where the robot is kicked but doesn't fall and the jumping one near the end.

If there is a final hour, let's hope for a higher power. One by one, and two by two, I have ammo, what about you?
