Default Never again Buy Sharp TV

for the past 2 years my tv Sharp AQUOS LC-32D6U LCD TV (LC32D6U) works perfect, not until today, the sound was totally gone with few clicks on left speaker then nomore sound....

i test the speakers on different source like hooking it up to the computer apparently it work so my conclusion the TV is not diverting no power towards the speaker output. even the separate variable output is also dying as of today they starting to weaken everytime i switch it to them even at full power.

i've search a little just to find out i'm not alone in the universe with same audio problem. now my tv serves only as secondary monitor...

now i have to look for new tv or look for someone dumping their good tv to watch

Is dat sum Hello Kitty?

A TV like that should have more then one of composite audio inputs or maybe even an audio in to run to a secondary speaker setup. Sucks for sure, but if thats there you can still get sound from it.

Wal-Mart has started carrying some really nice LCDs. Also don't forget Wal-Mart will price match, that includes online sites.

well, that is rotten poop. i had a plasma die on me after 1 year and 4 months. luckily for me, samsung carried a two year warranty on plasmas (one year on lcd's and dlp's).

pro-tip: buy the extended warranty. you won't regret that you did but you'll regret that you didn't.

I'll dig around myself too, but in the meantime, do you have a link showing they'll price match online sites? That's friggin' rad if they'll do that!

Ever been to a Wal-Mart? They have "Lowest Prices" plastered everywhere, they frequently do comp shopping and will match prices if you find a lower one. Customer support is the number one rule for working at Wal-Mart, if you ever feel as if that isn't being delievered when you go there, call the corporate office and they will fix the issue.

I've been to Wal-Mart, yes, but most places that price match have a disclaimer that excludes online sites. Speaking of which, I found my answer:

Are the prices online the same as store prices?
We strive to provide you with the lowest prices possible on Walmart.com as well as in our stores. However, sometimes a price online does not match the price in a store. In our effort to be the lowest price provider in your particular geographic region, store pricing will sometimes differ from online prices. Our local stores do not honor Walmart.com pricing or competitor advertisements from outside of a store's local trade territory.

They prob wont match amazon, but if you bring in like bestbuy.com price or Circuitcity.com, they'll match it up. Also sorry to hear the problem halutz, but i can't say I agree with you, our family's got a 52inch sharp Aquos we bought from Costco and it has no issues at all, owned it about 7 months now. I myself have a 42 inch Aquos i've had for a little over 2 yrs now with no problems either.
