"The fatal crash was caused by a driver" spokesperson of the NASA said.
"Apparently, our X-Fi Vista drivers are the ones to blame"

...
Kidding, but it could have happened. :P

Honestly, I've had a harder time getting the drivers for the razer barricuda to work on vista 64 than I did my xfi... for some reason the newest razer drivers just didnt work, so I had to use an older one... and the same thing happened on a 2nd computer using vista 64, which was odd.

But anyhoo.... I wish the sonicwall at my work didnt block that link.

Oh don't get me wrong. My X-Fi driver work. Every one time on 10 though I will boot and my sound will be high pitched, the fix I found was to disable and re-enable the sound card in my device manager.
Crysis however doesn't play nice at all with it. The sound stutters, and not just once in a while, it's constant stuttering. Then the game crashes at some point. :/

That is really weird... the only trouble I've had is if I don't have alchemy set up right... counterstrike runs for crap without that going. Once I got it going though it was smooth sailing...

I still don't know why the 2.22c drivers for the razer wouldn't work, but the 2.22b ones did. It was odd...
