Oh man... Dremel's are so much fun. Cutting stuff... modding... etching... there are so many uses for this tool. Good thing you got the real Dremel. The cheap alternatives aren't half as good.

Your view on how to fix\make things work will now change. You can cut, grind. smooth, gouge anything with a Dremel.

My Dremel has cut apart a thousand dollars worth of cases.

Remember to wear eye protection, As the cutting disk like to break and shatter.

Don't use the thin cheap disks, they are no good for cutting metal and shatter real easy. You want the reinforced cutting disks. If you take your time and "scratch" the surface they will last for a much longer time.

By scratch I mean, slowly cut at the surface instead of grinding at it in one long stroke. Think of it as slowly sanding in a precise spot. Let the speed of the tool use the work, not the sharpness of the disk.

Sweet, but your link doesn't work

The dremel tools are indeed nice. I'm still finding new uses for the one I use (that is actually my dad's). But like hitman said, eye protection is of extreme importance while using the dremels. not only do the disks break and shatter, but the pieces of material and sparks that fly off from those things is pretty heavy and when one of those things gets in your eye, it doesn't care how you feel about it! It HURTS!!! I've had stuff fly up underneath my safety glasses and get in my eye and it is no good. So seriously SERIOUSLY, wear some good eye protection!!!
