Default My Moab Trip

As some of you know I'm beginning a 2 week adventure to Moab, Utah with our Jeeps. I started a little blog for family and friends, and anyone else who might be interested, in which I'll document our progress and highlights. I'm posting this from Forest City Arkansas right now, and we're about to get back on the road. I'll be posting updates every day or so, and I'll be around on the forums whenever I have access to wifi. Talk to you guys soon!

very cool.... that dodge is the same color as my 04 Durango... I have done cross country trips before so get used to strange and exciting sights.
Gas in 2 diesels? considering it is $4/gal here... that is one trip I would hate to fund.

Thanks HL and Corsair!

HAHA, yeah, all I could think about was how much gas you guys are going to burn through on this trip!
Looks like fun though!

My truck has a 40gal tank, at at $3.40 locally, thats over $130 to fill up... and you figure in a diesel with at least the same size, you are looking at at least $150+ per fill up, also 2 trucks at a time.... looking at a good $2000-3000 for this whole trip, just on fuel.

I-40 will put you going trough OKC just north of me. That's a pretty well maintained freeway from OKC to Albuquerque (Never driven it eastbound). This time of year I-70 could go either way, as far as bad weather goes. Might be an option for the way home. Which route are you taking north into Utah?
