| I ordered a 1GB kit of RAM on Sunday... They shipped it out and I recieved it this afternoon... 2GB of RAM kicks some major ass... especially in Vista, which I already love. . I ordered a kit because I'm never upgrading RAM in this computer again... so I have 4 DIMMs of 512MB. I ordered some Corsair Value Select BTW. Working flawlessly so far... I have a lot of RAM free now in Vista... 68% free... much better compared to the 40ish% I was getting on 1GB... ![]() - Core 2 Quad Q6600 - DFI Infinity 975X - 4GB Corsair XMS2 w/ DHX DDR2-800 - 250GB Seagate 7200.10RPM + 160GB Hitachi 5400.4RPM - ATi Radeon X1900XT 256MB - Cooler Master Centurion 5 + OCZ StealthXStream 600W - Acer 19" P191W Monitor - Logitech Z-5500 Digital + Logitech MX Revolution - Vista Ultimate x64 |

| Lol, I made sure to uncheck the info... :) Yeah, I know there's limited RAM available in Vista (hell, according to Task Manager, I have 14MB of Free RAM), but like Lead Head said, it's all caching to speed it up. RAM frees up when you use it. But Vista was an ASSLOAD faster compared to XP. I only made the move because I my XP boot was getting really gay and I decided to just move up instead of reformatting. - Core 2 Quad Q6600 - DFI Infinity 975X - 4GB Corsair XMS2 w/ DHX DDR2-800 - 250GB Seagate 7200.10RPM + 160GB Hitachi 5400.4RPM - ATi Radeon X1900XT 256MB - Cooler Master Centurion 5 + OCZ StealthXStream 600W - Acer 19" P191W Monitor - Logitech Z-5500 Digital + Logitech MX Revolution - Vista Ultimate x64 |

| I'm Diggin it! | For all the negative stuff said about Vista, I'm really loving it myself. The interface is so much cleaner, smoother and quicker, it really feels like the "totally new" OS MS claimed it would be. Now, if only the game and benchmarking folks would get their patches out, I'd be using it all the time.
