| Functional Alcoholic | Wow that was tough to look at. Brought back a few memories. Your doing a great job over there Blair, just remember, what you're doing means something. I read an article today about a guy last year (16 Mar 06) that was brought into the Baghdad ER with a RPG lodged into his abdomen, and they were able to save his life. Its was a great story, I am sure you have heard about it since you have been there. |

| socket 939 junkie | i come home some time in november, so i can officially say next month :) i know some of those pictures are tough to look at, but they give a different perspective of whats really happening compared to what may be seen on the news. has this place changed me? definitely, but for the better i believe. its made me come to appreciate the little things in life and not to sweat the small nuances that are common to us every day and i think im a better person because of the hardships ive endured this past year. i remember that guy with the RPG. they had to call EOD to the operating room. Doctor Slaboda had some balls to remove that and save his life. but thats what we do here ;top: Q6600 @ 3.6ghz (400x9 @ 1.408v) Gigabyte X38-DQ6 2x2GB G-Skill DDR2 1000 @ DDR2 1066 5-5-5-15 2T 2.1v Visiontek HD4870 Seagate 7200.11 500GB 32MB Cache HDD Razer Barracuda AC1 Silverstone DA750 Samsung Dual Layer DVD Burner Lian Li G70WB Thermochill PA120.3|Swiftech Storm Rev.2|Swiftech MCP 655 |

| resident headbanger | All I have to say is WOW! Thanks Blair for being there and tell the medics and doctors and nurses we are praying for them here in Texas. Thanks again, Rich I would rather read a NewEgg review than a [H] review |

| Functional Alcoholic | The DR in this article was MAJ John Oh, and the soldiers name was SPC Chaning Moss. This happened before you got to Iraq. I am sure it was very similar to the incident that you are talking about. The article is in this weeks Army Times. |
