| I'm Diggin it!
| OK. So with my new build comes all the install's right? I go to install BF2 and guess what? I can't find my dang booklet. So I take the BF2 CD over to my kids computer, since it is installed on a seperate partition there, and nope, won't work since I formatted C:. Does anyone know how I can pull my CD-Key from this existing installation or have I screwed myself and now need to go buy another copy? | I don't know how to get the key but with BF1942 I damaged the cd and all I had to do after talking to support was send them the damaged cd along with $7.50 and they sent a new cd and new key with it. | ||||||||||||||

| It's installed on my kids computer. It just won't play because I formatted their C: partition when I upgraded their computer this past weekend. | The time has come for Revenge of the Nerds!
| I just reread your post, and unfortunately, the above utility is not likely to work. Worse yet is that keys are typically stored in the registry, meaning that the chance of this turning out favorable is slim to none. :/ I'd try calling them up and seeing if they'll work you on a solution short of buying the game all over again. | ||||||||||||||

| Yep. Someone over on another forum suggested the same thing. I've done it now for all of my games/software.
