Default Miracle Whip or Mayo?

You would be surprised how much of a polarizing topic this can be as some people are so dead set against the other, some don't care, and some don't eat either.... so here goes the poll.

Thanks HL and Corsair!

I like light mayo but mustard is way better.
Never eat miracle whip

My choice is neither, since I never actively eat mayo (ie: its always default on an ordered sandwich, but I never put it on my own sandwiches)

there is a big difference... some people don't care either way but they have very different and distinct tastes.

Neatorama » Blog Archive » What’s the Difference: Miracle Whip vs. Mayonnaise.

Quote:
In 1933, inventor Charles Chapman’s patented emulsifying machine allowed regular mayonnaise to be evenly blended with cheaper dressings and more than 20 different spices (plus sugar). The result was Miracle Whip, which debuted at the 1933 Chicago World’s Fair. Promising to create "Salad Miracles with Miracle Whip Salad Dressing," the Whip was an instant hit (Note: It’s not known if the dressing is responsible for any non-salad-related miracles.)

The main difference between Miracle Whip and mayonnaise are the sweeteners: high-fructose corn syrup and sugar are the fourth and fifth ingredients, respectively, of Miracle Whip.

Miracle Whip is yummy on me sandwiches!! I am ok with a small amount of mayo on them, if no Miracle Whip is around, but I grew up on Miracle Whip so I like it much better.

A fat dollop of lard smothered in bacon grease is the only way to go.
