Will said he edits the magazine like 3 months or something like that before it's released. Just imagine how confused he must get

Merry Christmas! :P

How do you review a product that early? I can understand some products, but like a PC?

I have no idea, and I don't think the entire mag is edited that early. Perhaps just certain parts. He mentioned it on an episode of Into Gaming. They're on there every month.

You review stuff as you get it. MaxPCs content is the same as everyone elses, the only thing that changes is the date on the front. They obviously get some stuff a bit before the rest of us, but that can be attributed to their location and standing in the community. Also consider that review pieces they write are different from feature articles...there is no "three month leeway" when it comes to the product reviews.

The only thing that differs from site to site is the methodalogy....some sites get stuff and rush to be the first to get a review out....I personally like to spend a week or two playing with it and testing it under various conditions to see what else might be important to the end user.
