Love my Gmail....but COME ON!

I'm sick and tired of Spam for penis products and fake watches. Give me a break! I must delete 50 of these a day! Gmail's SPAM filter catches 99.5% of them, no joke there....it's a rare even where one sneaks through, but still. I'm tired of this crap.

I guess I'm lucky... the only spam I get is from ftd.com and amazon. And even then, it's 4 or 5 a week.

make filters.

if Subject contains "v1agra" delete. They give u unlimited filters I think, unlike yahoo! who limits to 20.

and keep doin that. I got my spam down to 5-6 a day by doing that

i dont even look in my spam folder, i haven't gotten anything that got into my inbox.

X2 Yup never ever look at the spam folder.

That's what it's there for. Unless you're really careful after a while your account is going to get bombarded by tons of spam. At least gmail catches most of it. When I had yahoo it was really awful, and a lot of it ended up in my inbox. I've been using my gmail for several months and haven't had a single spam email.

i've had a really good experience with gmail. i would estimate only 1 or 2 spam gets through every week. its a lot better than yahoo, without a doubt.

gmail is slowly getting nailed like the others and it depends on your name and email address and how many places online it is placed. I get usually 1-3 per day with my Gmail and average 100-150 per day in my yahoo mailbox. Of course my yahoo address has been around for 10 years and has been all over the internet.

That is the ONLY reason I have a GMAIL acct. Is for any website I enter a email addy for info.
