I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal.

Default Letters From Santa

For the parents out there....

I mentioned in another thread that we buy a letter from Santa every year for our three kids, complete with a Northpole postmark. There's many sites that offers this service, usually around $9.95+. However, you can also do this yourself, which is what we'll be doing this year:

INSTRUCTIONS
1) Type/print your personalized letter from Santa. Spice it up with Christmas clipart, or if you find a decent template or background image, post it here. If your handwriting is as bad as mine, have your significant other sign it from Santa.

2) Place it in an envelope with appropriate return shipping postage. Decorate it some if you wish, such as using a Christmas themed stamp(s).

3) Fill in the 'send' portion with your child's name/address, and don't forget the return address too:

SANTA CLAUS
NORTH POLE

4) Put the envelope in a first class mailer and send it to the following address (make sure it arrives before December 15th):

North Pole Christmas Cancellation
Postmaster
5400 Mail Trail
Fairbanks, AK 99709-9998
______________________________________

That's it. The post office will post mark the envelope from the North Pole, AK and send it to your child.

I bet If I did this and put my name on it, I will have forgotten that I did it by the time it makes it back to me. Then it will be like when I was a boy and believed in santa and maybe he will bring me a new baby brother!

You know whats funny I used to live there.
I lived in Fairbanks Ak on an AF base when i was a kid. They have a little town there called the north pole. I allways though it was cool as a kid!
