Default Letter from Haltzparilla

As many of you know Haltzparilla, one of our original members, joined the Army earlier this year. He is now in Basic Training at FT Sill OK. I got a snail mail letter from him today. I am also stationed at FT Sill and the letter was postmarked yesterday, so the news is pretty fresh. Here is what he had to say.

Sorry got to write one letter only. I have been writing letter to my wife every night. I miss writing the forums everyday, CS:S and the Internet.

I miss reading articles about the latest computer parts. Here barely have time to write a letter. Never ending push-up, exercise, and yelling. The only privilege we had was 2 phone calls and thats it.

My body is so sore and fatigued. Even my penmanship is totally jacked up. Oh cursing is a normal thing here LOL.

Anyway, just send my hi to everyone to HL, especially Screwball, Nate, Joker, and all. Guys I am going through the hardest days of my life please pray for me to pass this mentally and physically.

I did the hard part for you guys, I actually had to read his hand writing. I suggest that some of us write him a letter of encouragement. Basic training is pretty tough. Many of us have been through it so we know how important it its that people let us know they still care about us at the end of the day. I think some letters will help bring his spirits up. He is doing an honorable thing and deserves our support. He graduates in June and I plan to attend his graduation.

Thanks for posting this Hitman.

I'll definitely send him a letter of encouragement, and I'll be praying for him.
I'm glad to hear that he's doing ok, being in Military training is hard, but we all know he'll get through it.

Cool! I may have to send some words of encouragement... of course I have typed everything out so long, not sure if I even remember how to write anymore ... bah I'll use Wordpad to type and print a letter

Thanks HL and Corsair!

I think an official letter from the "Sexually Transmitted Disease Center"
URGENT : OPEN IMMEDIATELY! Results Enclosed
would be appropriate :)
