Here's a local story with a strange twist....new "style" ruling from a good Judge.

Judge's Order: Learn English

i agree and good for the judge. It still blows my mind how people can be legally living in the US, some US citizens and not be able to converse at all in english.

agreed... if you can't follow the laws then you have no reason to be here... lock them up for a few months then ship them back

I agree; if for some reason there were a decent probability that these four could mend their ways and become productive residents of this country, then give them jail time to pay their debt and get on with their lives. As it is, however, given the severity of their crime, I doubt these four will ever contribute positively to society. As convicted felons they should be handed over to INS for deportation.

If we still had chain gangs or hard labor, yes. Throw them out and be done with them. Why spend tens of thousands of dollars each year to give them food, clothing and shelter?

Send them back and be done with them.
