Default KillaCycle

0-60 in less than a second and 158 mph in the quarter mile. Maybe this guy should have had a professional doing the demo.

I hope he is alright, somethings of people getting hurt I can laugh at, but when he is thrown from the bike, on his back and not moving, thats where it is just not funny anymore. Nice bike either way

He turned out to only have scrapes and bruises. Luckily for him! That bike is simply awesome. Very fast acceleration for a battery driven vehicle. Very interesting find Joker!

Just getting on to do the burnout in town was stupid also. No common sense involved at all.

You only need the length of the bike +1 bike length to do a burnout without a stop.

What was stupid was having an unexperienced guy like him doing it. On slicks, you don't want to let the bike creep forward like he did. As soon as he got out of the water and it dried out, and he slowed the RPM's down on the back tire, the slick hooked up as designed and he was gone. Had he of kept the brake applied and just wiggled back and forth, he would have been fine.

A helmet would have been a good idea, but in reality, if you do the burn out properly, you wouldn't need one because at most, you only creep forward a couple of inches. I've been to a few bike week gatherings. Burnouts are a very common show at these things. There's hardly ever any helmets worn, I always wear mine but that's just me, and this is the first accident I've seen doing a burn out. Of course, proper preparations would have dictated having a front wheel stop in place to butt against.

Inexperience and a willingness to disregard common sense is what caused this accident.
