Default Just Braggin II
Just to update... Our little town's Menominee Maroons won their second consecutive Michigan Division 5 State Championship Friday night, playing at Ford Field in Detroit.

That brings their current winning streak to 28 straight. Amazing for a bunch of kids from a run down hick town! Green Bay Press-Gazette - Football: Maroons repeat as Michigan state champs

yep and the Packers took the Thanksgiving day game fairly easy.. a rough start but took a commanding lead starting the second quarter.
This next game will be a great one to watch between Dallas and GB

I went to college with a girl named Mandi Zemba (formerly Mandi Long) from Menominee, she ran Track and Cross Country and now has a sponsorship to run professionally from New Balance. You guys must be putting something in that Menominee water!

Folks around here are mostly Packers' fans, so between them and the Maroons, we had a good Thanksgiving weekend.

Time-Warner refuses to give in to the NFL Network's and the Big Ten Network's ridiculous demand to carry their stations on basic cable, thus raising prices for everybody. Because of this we miss out on a few Big Ten games, but will still get the Packers' game since it will be aired on local TV.

Thursday's game will not be a repeat of Thanksgiving. Green Bay will be lucky if they manage to just squeak out a win. Too bad Dallas doesn't have to come up here and play in the cold!
