|  Just a 9/80 Friday! Woot!
During last year my company (the one I work for) was bought. The new company B&W (Babcock & Wilcox) offered what they call a 9/80 plan as an option. I opted in. 
Monday through Thursday we work a 9 hour day, then on Friday an 8 hour day. The following week we work Monday through Thursday 9 hour days and on Friday we are off. Therefore every other Friday is off and makes for a 3 day weekend. Not bad at all.
Considering I was there 9 hours a day anyway this is sweet!
Till this Friday, Kathy (wife) decided to share my Friday's off. There was the first Friday she decided we would enjoy together, then our anniversary, then my birthday.... Finally, I am enjoying my first solo Friday. I like this! Not that I didn't enjoy the days she took off but...  .
