hey guys,
i know (well...hope) you guys have noticed my absence.
lacrosse season started, had some high school drama with a few girls, then my car blew up, and all sorts of exciting stuff.
and with lacrosse came the other forum i'm a part of, and i got wrapped up in that because i'm one of the better stringers across that forum, and i get paid quite a bit to do that for folks.
ANYWAYS

as for an update on my life for everyone but SI, who i chat with frequently, my wonderful 86 crown vic blew up (tranny failed) but i'm looking at an RX-7, and a turbo diesel GTI right now.
i dumped the girl that was giving me problems before, but now i'm with an amazing girl, closing in on 3 months and it just gets better.

summer is here, finals are over, and my life is back to normal, somewhat, so i'm going to do my best to get back whatever i had with you guys.

hope you guys want me back as much as i wanna be back

i'm looking at one right now just over an hour away for cheap
110k on the body, new engine put in at 98k by mazda, the dude wants $1,300 for it.
white exterior, black interior. Need new tires....i'm not about to complain

i'm going to try and convince my dad to go out with me this weekend and check it out, if alls well i'll just take the money out of a bank there and snag it, the only thing i'm worried about is my limited knowledge of A) imports, and B) rotaries......
i'm really hoping it works out though, REALLY hoping
my girl and i were walking around town from my work (a computer shop) to grab a burrito and we walked by (keep your tongue in your mouths, please) a 2nd gen, 3rd gen touring, and an RX-8 all parked next to each other, all black with red accents, all with custom plates.
i nearly busted the proverbial nut..

OH and i also got a pretty serious concussion in my last lacrosse game, it was the first time i'd seen stars for more than a few seconds, i was seeing them on/off for 2-3 days

I live in So Cal where all the rice is. Every weekend is a damn car show at the local asian hang out place. Skylines, Evo's, STi's, Turbo this and that, the usual ferarri and lambo that show up and a new Aston.

Rotories are difficult, especially old ones. I would check the grounding wires if you go take a look. Those usually go bad quicky on that car.

Or... You can do what I did, forget about cars and get a motorcycle!!! You will have no need to go fast in a car anymore.

kidding, i need a car.
between lan parties, Anastasia, and the new england weather, which is also why i was considering something like a VW (either a jetta GLI or a golf GTI, preferable a diesel/turbo diesel) or a WRX
get a full fledged rally car and it's perfectly suit where i live = D (a mountain covered in dirt roads)

hey i'd drive an (earlier) evo or definitely an STi, just it'd hit the fan of someone who is also slowly working on a 68 coupe mustang right now.
the only thing i'd ever drive that looks moderately riced would be a 3rd gen touring RX-7, black it out with a small spoiler, but if you do the TT on it you're looking at 600+RWHP which would even make use of a moderately sized spoiler.

I drive a WRX... Great car for your area too. The 08's are ugly, I would look for a 05 to 07. Man, I want to go rallycross again, I bet it would be so fun to drive in your area.

yea the only problem is they are out of my price range...
you have no idea how many times i've thought about simply throwing our big block 302 w/dual turbos feeding a super into a spitfire, making it ROCK solid, and just driving it till it burns just for kicks haha, and figure something else out come winter, but if only the RX-7 was AWD lmao.
