| Sort of... I just traded in my 2006 Mustang for a 2008 Mustang! It's weird, because it's basically the same car. The color is the same, except for some different tape work. The interior is the same, except the seats are cloth instead of leather. The engine is the same (4.0 V6), and it's an automatic like my 06. It has what they call the "Chrome Appearance Package", meaning it has a chrome exhaust tip, 17" chrome wheels (as opposed to the alloy Rally wheels on the 06) and a chrome grill. It has a few little things the 06 didn't have, like 6 months free Sirius Radio, ambient lighting inside and chrome accents on the dash. So, it's kind of like I upgraded my car. It looks pretty sweet, and I'll try to post some pics soon. If it's not fixed, then don't broke it! | ||||||||||||||

| That's pretty fast for an upgrade on the car! Was there something wrong with the 06 or do you lease? How do they drive? Never driven a Mustang myself. | Shoulda got the 4.6 V8! Theres nothing wrong with the SOHC 4.0, but its just a little behind by today's standards. But still a great car! I think the newer mustangs look pretty good too Opteron 64 165--1.5GB DDR--ECS KA1 MVP(thanks HL!)--x1800GTO 256MB--Seagate 320GB SATA--Antec 550 Watt--Antec P180 | ||||||||||||||

| thats a good way to get decent gas mileage and just show off a nice looking car... of course no need to race with it since you will likely lose with that V6... (I know because I beat one with my 04 Durango that has the 4.7 V8 ) ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. | ||||||||||||||

| Don't listen to anyone here... in 3-6 months, anyone with a V8 is going to be crying like a schoolgirl (if they aren't already). This may be the end of the SUV, HEMI, HUMMER, and any other god-aweful disgrace to the automotive world.... Thank GOD!!!!! . Last edited by dttuner; May 1st, 2008 at 09:38. | ||||||||||||||

| nah, it is far from the end. They may be used/bought/sold for less but they will not disappear... there are too many middle to upper class soccer moms that have to drive their Lincoln Navigators for their one child. The real disgrace are these tiny tin can cars that sacrifice security for gas mileage... sure you may get 50mpg but get in an accident and you're lucky if you survive. I prefer to live (and keep my family alive) and spend a little more on gas. as a side note I do have a 91 Chevy Suburban with a 454 (10 mpg) that I am selling to get a Jeep Wrangler with a 4cyl.. but our main family vehicle will still be the 04 Dodge Durango since we have 2 daughters. It is impossible to have the 2 car seats, the stroller AND have room for groceries on anything smaller. Well that and with me being 6'5" it is tough for me to even fit in anything smaller. This is my choice and my opinion, I prefer paying a bit more for safety. ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. | ||||||||||||||

| screwballl get's the Wet Blanket of the Year Award. Congrats on the new car man! I'm on the market for a car myself, but with my much lower budget it's proving to be a difficult undertaking.
